About Ms. Jacobson
I love traveling, hiking, and exploring nature! I've been to 36 states and plan to venture to all 50! I love bringing the environment into my classroom! Recently, I've been to the Grand Canyon in Arizona and Red Rock National Park in Nevada.
In my free time, I frequent many of the museums Chicago has to offer. My favorites are the Museum of Science and Industry, The Field Msueum, and The Art Institute of Chicago.
I believe inquiry learning helps students develop a deeper understanding for the world around them. I love incorporating hands-on engineering-based experiences that push my students' curiosity! Beyond STEM in the classroom, I love sending home extra activities that my students can complete with their families. I would love to support STEM family nights for your school and community!
I have been an athlete from elementary school through college, and I have coached cheerleading, as well. I'm an avid runner and yoga enthusiast. I'd love to contribute my experiences to your school's needs.
